Clearbit is still capable inside HubSpot, but teams are switching for reasons like:
- HubSpot lock-in. Breeze Intelligence is built for HubSpot; it is less useful outside it.
- No standalone product. The clearbit.com site now redirects to HubSpot marketing pages; there is no separate Clearbit SKU.
- Pricing changes. Enrichment is now bundled into HubSpot packaging and Breeze credit packs, sold through HubSpot sales.
- Declining match rates. Practitioners report lower fill rates than the standalone Clearbit of years past.
- API flexibility. Teams want a standalone enrichment API not tied to a CRM.
